Fatigue-Crack Propagation Under XFEM-Informed Analytical Constraints

This study explores the vital role of mass media in societal development and education, emphasizing its characteristics of availability, affordability, and rapid dissemination of information. It categorizes mass media into print, electronic, and interactive media, highlighting platforms such as radio, television, and newspapers, which are instrumental in reaching broad audiences and facilitating educational initiatives. The research particularly focuses on the Almajiri system in Nigeria, a traditional Islamic educational framework facing numerous challenges including poverty, neglect, and social vices. Through a survey, findings reveal high access to mass media among Almajiri children, primarily for entertainment, with a smaller proportion utilizing it for educational purposes. The study also identifies significant barriers such as inadequate electricity supply and low media literacy, which hinder the effective use of mass media for education. The results suggest that leveraging mass media, alongside infrastructural improvements like solar energy solutions, can enhance educational access and quality for marginalized groups. Overall, the study underscores the potential of mass media to transform educational delivery and address socio-economic challenges within the Almajiri system and beyond.
