STABILITY TESTING IN PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATIONS

Stability testing is most important critical component of pharmaceutical development that ensures the efficacy, quality, and safety of drug products throughout their intended shelf life. In the systematic evaluation of physical, biological, chemical and microbiological characteristics of pharmaceutical formulations under various environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and light. Recent advances instability testing have focused on the integration of predictive modeling artificial intelligence and advanced analytical techniques to accelerate the determination of shelf life. Improve product reliability regulatory frameworks; particularly those established by the international council for Harmonization (ICH), Promote standardized guidelines for conducting stability studies and expiration dates. The increasing complexity of drug delivery systems, including biologic, dissonances, and psychopharmacology, has necessitated the development of novel stability-indicating methods and real time monitoring approaches. Additionally, the role of packing materials and container-closure systems has gained significant attention in maintaining product integrity. Emphasis is placed on innovative strategies such as accelerated stability studies, forced degradation testing, and computational modelling for shelf- life perdition. Overall, stability testing remains indispensable for ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical products to patients.
