Pre-registration: one-setting Locked Twist (field width = torsion value / 9) tested on SPT-3G

Pre-registered prediction, written and SHA-256 hashed before any SPT-3G fit of this model was run. Model: the Locked Twist, an early-dark-energy field whose switch-on is locked to matter-radiation equality, with its width fixed at F = 1.2247/9 = 0.13608 M_Pl. One free setting (theta_i) over LCDM. Primary test: SPT-3G D1 TT/TE/EE + Planck low-l EE tau prior + DESI DR2 BAO + Pantheon+, no SH0ES. PASS if delta-chi2 < -2 and delta-AIC < 0 vs LCDM; FAIL if delta-chi2 >= 0; otherwise inconclusive. Width check: free-width fit with implied N within 9 +/- 1 is consistent; outside 7-11 is inconsistent. Disclosed: N = 9 was read off the Planck free fit (1.2247/F = 8.97) and is not derived from physics. Earlier N = 9 results: Planck + DESI DR2 + Pantheon+ delta-chi2 -4.46 (not blind); P-ACT delta-chi2 -6.14, delta-AIC -4.14, 2.5 sigma. On ACT the free width drifted to N = 8.0, the main risk to this prediction. File SHA-256: c400ed9608fd4af2d0dadbd9dd83563d16ffc66ac6ae6485705f126ccff48404
