AN INTEGRATED FRAMEWORK FOR ASSESSING AND ENHANCING OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN ORGANIZATIONS

In contemporary organizations, effective operations management is essential for maintaining the stability of production and service processes, utilizing resources rationally, reducing costs, and meeting customer requirements in a timely manner. Intensifying competition, the rapid development of digital technologies, and the growing complexity of business processes necessitate the continuous assessment of operational performance. This article examines the nature of operations management, its influence on organizational performance, and the theoretical and methodological foundations for assessing operations using contemporary management models. It systematizes the potential of Lean Management, Six Sigma, SCOR, the Balanced Scorecard, and KPI-based approaches for evaluating operational processes. The study proposes an integrated model for assessing operational performance based on indicators of cost, quality, time, flexibility, and resource utilization. This approach enables organizations to identify operational problems, strengthen the evidence base for managerial decision-making, and continuously improve their processes.
