Prss22, Lrrn3, Vstm4 and Ildr4 represent a placental immune signature.

Immune regulation at the maternal-fetal interface and at the placenta is of critical importance. We demonstrate here using whole transcriptome sequencing of human placental tissues expression of a suite of immune receptors in the placenta: Prss22, Lrrn3, Vstm4, and Ildr4. The receptors likely have toleragenic functions.

Abstract

Immune regulation at the maternal-fetal interface and at the placenta is of critical importance. We demonstrate here using whole transcriptome sequencing of human placental tissues expression of a suite of immune receptors in the placenta: Prss22, Lrrn3, Vstm4, and Ildr4. The receptors likely have toleragenic functions.
