Persistent_Deconfined_QCD_Matter

Abstract Quark-gluon plasma (QGP) is a deconfined state of strongly interacting matter in which quark and gluon degrees of freedom replace ordinary hadronic structure. At vanishing baryon chemical potential, lattice-QCD calculations place the rapid crossover from hadronic to deconfined matter at approximately 155–160 MeV. This paper explores a deliberately speculative extension of present heavy-ion experiments: whether a localised region could be continuously supplied with energy and externally confined so that it remained above the QCD crossover instead of rapidly expanding, cooling and hadronizing. The central idea is described intuitively as maintaining matter in a “raw”, structure-suppressed state, while the technical description is persistent deconfined QCD matter. The paper examines continuous energy balance, electromagnetic or magnetohydrodynamic containment, toroidal geometry, gravitational mass-energy, and scale dependence. A key conclusion is that QGP possesses enormous energy density, but useful engineered gravity depends on total stored energy rather than deconfinement itself. The most credible research direction is therefore not a macroscopic gravity generator but controlled studies of deconfined matter under external fields, rotation and extended or repeatedly generated conditions.
