ENSURING DATA PRIVACY AND SECURE TRANSMISSION MECHANISMS IN VR/AR NETWORKS

This article analyzes issues related to ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensor data, user movements, and spatial information transmitted across virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) networks. When data is transmitted between user devices, wireless networks, and cloud servers, various risks may arise, including interception, modification, unauthorized access, and excessive data collection. Based on scientific literature and cryptographic standards, the article examines the use of Transport Layer Security (TLS), authentication, key management, data minimization, and local on-device processing. As a result, a conceptual architecture is proposed that integrates security mechanisms across the device, communication channel, and server layers.
