PENGARUH PAPARAN VIDEO PENDEK TERHADAP KONSENTRASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SDN 1 SIKUR SELATAN
Exposure to short-form videos via platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels has increasingly become a part of the digital habits of primary school-aged children, and it is suspected to be linked to their ability to sustain attention during learning. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of short-form video exposure on the learning concentration of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Sikur Selatan. The study employs a non-experimental quantitative approach with a predictive correlational design and a cross-sectional framework. The sample consists of all 30 fourth-grade students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data on short-form video exposure were collected via a questionnaire, while learning concentration was measured through structured observation during the learning process. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression at a significance level of 0.05, utilizing IBM SPSS Statistics. The results indicate an average score of 14.30 for short-form video exposure and 27.50 for learning concentration, both of which fall into the moderate category. Regression analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.175, a coefficient of determination of 0.031, a regression coefficient of 0.351, a t-value of 0.943, and a significance level of 0.354. These findings reveal a very weak and statistically insignificant positive relationship. Consequently, short-form video exposure was not found to have a significant impact on student learning concentration within the context studied. This research provides contextual empirical evidence at the primary school level and underscores the importance of considering learning factors, student conditions, and broader media usage patterns in maintaining learning concentration.
