Supply Chain Resilience through the Integration of Green Operations and Circular Economy

Global supply chain disruptions, environmental pressures, and sustainability demands have encouraged manufacturing companies in Surabaya to increase operational resilience through the implementation of green operations and circular economy. This study aims to analyze the influence of the integration of green operations and circular economy practices on supply chain resilience in manufacturing companies in the city of Surabaya. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey of 150 respondents consisting of managers and operational, production, and supply chain managers and staff from Surabaya manufacturing companies. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results show that the integration of green operations and circular economy has a positive effect on improving supply chain resilience through efficiency, flexibility, and operational adaptability. This research makes a theoretical and practical contribution to the development of sustainable operational management strategies to deal with supply chain risks.
