IMPLEMENTASI PEMETAAN JALUR KARIR SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN MUTU SDM

The quality of education is the main indicator of an institution's success in producing competent, character-driven, and adaptable graduates. The improvement of quality heavily depends on the quality of educators and educational staff as the main drivers of the learning process and institutional management. This research aims to analyze the implementation of Career Path Mapping (CPM) as a strategy for improving the quality of education within the framework of Total Quality Management (TQM). The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach thru content analysis of various national and international journals. The research results show that PJK plays a role in developing the careers of teachers and educational staff in a directed manner based on competence. The integration of PJK with the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle supports the development of human resources as part of continuous improvement. The implementation of PJK enhances professionalism, motivation, administrative efficiency, human resource retention, and the institution's readiness to meet global quality demands. Thus, PJK becomes an effective instrument in building a culture of continuous quality in educational institutions.
