An Acute Peripheral‐Appearing Vestibular Syndrome Followed by Probable Vestibular Migraine: A Case Report
ABSTRACT Peripheral‐appearing findings during an acute vestibular syndrome do not necessarily establish the etiology of subsequent recurrent vestibular episodes. The emergence of recurrent vertigo with migraine‐associated features should prompt diagnostic reassessment. Serial vestibular testing may document evolving vestibular function but should be interpreted in conjunction with the longitudinal clinical phenotype.
