IMPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL DIGITAL COMPETENCIES OF MEDICAL STUDENTS THROUGH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

This thesis examines a competency-based methodological system for developing professional digital competencies in medical students. The approach integrates learning management systems, interactive multimedia, virtual simulations and practice-oriented activities. A pedagogical experiment involving 760 students (505 experimental and 255 control) was carried out across four medical higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. The dissertation reports a 1.16-fold effectiveness indicator for the experimental approach, while educational quality indicators rose from 45.7% to 66.9% in the experimental group and from 21.2% to 27.5% in the control group.
