Islamic Religious Education as a Pillar for Cultivating Noble Character Amidst the Challenges of Moral Degradation
The phenomenon of moral decline among Indonesian teenagers is a serious challenge in the world of education and social society. The rampant bullying, violence, misuse of social media, and weakening empathy and social responsibility indicate a character crisis that has not been addressed comprehensively. This study aims to analyze the relevance of the concept of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tripusat Pendidikan which involves the roles of family, school, and society in an effort to shape adolescent character based on Islamic values. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative descriptive approach, through analysis of literature and educational documents related to character education, adolescent moral degradation, and the integration of Islamic values. The results of the study show that weak coordination between family, school, and society is the main cause of the suboptimal character education in Indonesia. In addition, the dominance of cognitive education and the negative influence of globalization through digital media also accelerate moral degradation. The concept of the Tripusat Pendidikan combined with moral teachings in the Qur'an and Hadith is seen as a strategic approach to forming students who are not only academically superior, but also spiritually and ethically mature. Islamic Religious Education through exemplary behavior, habituation, and instilling moral values are the main keys in building the character of teenagers with integrity.
