Farmácia Verde Hospitalar: gestão racional e descarte ambientalmente responsável de medicamentos

This article examines the integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3 and 12 in the hospital environment, focusing on rational drug use and environmentally safe disposal of expired medications. The research identifies weaknesses in internal processes, such as inadequate storage, lack of systematic expiration control, and insufficient traceability routines. Based on an applied and structured methodological approach, the study proposes a sustainable management model that includes validity-control protocols, improved storage organization, implementation of collection points, and partnerships with licensed companies for proper waste treatment. Expected outcomes include reduced financial losses, minimized health risks, and lower environmental impacts, contributing to the consolidation of a sustainable hospital culture.
