Prinsip Etika Kristen Dalam Menyelesaikan Sengketa Di Antara Sesama Orang Percaya: Analisis Retoris 1 Korintus 6:1–11
Conflict resolution among believers presents a critical theological and pastoral challenge for the contemporary church. This study examines 1 Corinthians 6:1–11, where Paul critiques believers for utilizing secular courts and offers an alternative ethical framework. Employing a qualitative hermeneutical method through rhetorical and exegetical analysis, the research explores Paul’s ethical principles for internal dispute resolution. The findings highlight three core principles: resolving conflicts within the faith community, engaging a wise mediator, and practicing reconciliation grounded in love. These principles establish a holistic, transformative ethical-theological foundation. The study concludes that the church must revitalize its internal role as a reconciling community and establish conflict resolution models aligned with Kingdom values. The novelty of this research lies in its integrative approach, combining rhetorical-exegetical analysis with contemporary pastoral application to reframe the passage as a vision for community identity.
