Typification of two names in the genus Nothopegia (Anacardiaceae)

As a part of the ongoing taxonomic revision on the Indian members of tribe Semecarpeae (Anacardiaceae), the need of typification of two names in the genus Nothopegia Blume has been identified. The nomenclature of the two species has been discussed and lectotypes for the one accepted name Nothopegia acuminata J. Sinclair and a synonym of Nothopegia colebrookeana (Wight) Blume, viz., N. colebrookeana var. macrocarpa Hook.f. are designated here in accordance with the Madrid Code.
