Dwarfs4MOSAIC Data Release 1: project overview and data release website

This presentation introduces the first Data Release (DR1) of Dwarfs4MOSAIC, an International Time Programme (ITP) of the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos (La Palma). Dwarfs4MOSAIC (PI Jesús Gallego) is a pilot study for MOSAIC, the multi-object spectrograph for ESO’s Extremely Large Telescope. It carries out a 2D study of low-mass star-forming dwarf galaxies in low-density environments as low-redshift analogues of the primeval galaxies of the reionization epoch. The presentation summarises the scientific motivation, the sample selection criteria and the observations obtained with GTC/MEGARA, WHT/WEAVE, INT/WFC and LT/IO:O. DR1 includes integral-field spectroscopy of ten galaxies: three observed with MEGARA, and seven observed with the WEAVE LIFU in low-resolution mode. Finally, it provides a guided tour of the DR1 website, explaining how to log in, navigate the target table, consult the project information and User’s Guide, and download the reduced data products for each galaxy.
