Evaluation of the Pedagogical Effects of the Implementation of Lean Manufacturing Tools in a General Education Organization

This article presents selected results from a scientific study examining the pedagogical effects of implementing lean manufacturing tools in various educational institutions. It presents the development, theoretical justification, and experimental validation of a three-level model for assessing the operational performance of lean tools in an educational context. The proposed model includes measurements of time loss, satisfaction of participants in educational relationships, and qualitative changes in thinking and behavior. The article demonstrates that the pedagogical effects are both direct and indirect: freeing up teaching time, reducing stress and fatigue among students, fostering project-based thinking and a culture of continuous improvement. The authors found that the greatest pedagogical impact comes from the workspace organization tools (5S) and the system of improvement suggestions (SIS). The study results confirm the replicability of the proposed model across various educational institutions, despite variations in specific solutions.
