Una donación de alhajas: Nicolás Jennett y la peregrina de Quito de Cádiz
The importance of the image of Our Lady of Mercy, the Pilgrim of Quito, led to its reproduction in sculpture, painting and engravings. One of these countless examples was located in the city of Cadiz, who occupied one of the chapels of the church of the former Mercedarian convent after its placement in 1760. In this work, we provide a document of donation of some jewelry to this effigy by the Irish merchant Nicholas Jennet.
