[23]Connectivity Geometry: Consciousness Emergence, Topological Aging, and Physical Reconstruction of Consciousness

The nature of consciousness and aging constitutes two ultimate challenges in the life sciences. Within the framework of connectivity geometry, this paper proposes a purely topological physical hypothesis: consciousness is not a single neuronal biochemical reaction, but a macroscopic coherent state that emerges when the connectivity of the life network crosses a critical threshold; aging, in turn, is an irreversible topological fracture that occurs in the life network under long-term environmental quenching. By establishing a network connectivity decay model, this hypothesis qualitatively explains the topological self-repair of long-lived species and the instantaneous collapse of consciousness under acute brain injury. Furthermore, based on topological network theory, this paper proposes engineering paths for anti-aging and consciousness preservation—"topological reconnection" and "entanglement fingerprint storage"—providing a rigorous physical foundation for future brain-computer interfaces and the physical reconstruction of consciousness. This paper explicitly states that the model is not a reduction of biological mechanisms, but rather a theoretical benchmark for future EEG testing and topological medicine.
