Open for whom? Impact and value of Citizen Science and Open Science in the framework of the European Research Area

Invited talk at the SPHERE conference, Turin Oct. 30 2026. Open Science and Citizen Science as one of its main components is at the core of European policies and research system. We shall explore the role and value Citizen and Open Science play within the legal (ERA Act), funding (Horizon Europe), infrastructure (EOSC) and evaluation reform (COARA) framework in Europe.
