Cyclical aggression and acute severe dermatopathy in a 2-year-old mixed-breed dog
A 2-year-old mixed-breed dog was referred for rapidly expanding, pruritic ulcerative lesions over the back that progressed despite hospitalization and conventional treatment. The dog also had a history of recurring episodes of severe aggression, which made examination and care challenging. How might the dermatologic and behavioral findings be interpreted together through the Five Elements and TCVM? This case invites readers to consider the dog's constitution, formulate a TCVM diagnosis, and develop a treatment strategy.
