E8 Phi-Shell Decoherence Filter — E8 Intelligence Research
I propose a phi-shell selection principle: in a golden realization of E8, the 240 roots and their φ-scaled copies define discrete invariant shells, with only 132φ^n modes on closed root-vector cycles able to suppress first-order phase noise. A Posner-like phosphate cage would qualify as a shield only if its measured vibrational spectrum overlaps these shells; absent such evidence, this remains a falsifiable prediction rather than an established mechanism. Driving the cage at φ-midpoint control frequencies should then produce greater spin dephasing than driving it at shell frequencies. Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
