The Effect of Using Symbolab Software on Performing Operations with Decimal Fractions and on Confidence in Learning Mathematics among Basic Fourth-Grade Students

This study aimed to measure the contribution of using the Symbolab software to performing operations with decimal fractions and confidence in learning mathematics to basic fourth grate students. The experimental classes followed a quasi-experimental method, and the study was applied to two classes, a readily available sample of (48) students. The two classes were distributed together into two groups, each of which contained (24) students. The results of this study revealed differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the test of operations on decimal fractions and the of confidence scale in learning mathematics, in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results, or scrutiny of a study encouraging mathematics teachers in learning mathematics topics using the Symbolab software.
