Relativity in the Absolute Medium Model: The Kinematics, Dynamics, and Observational Signatures of a Sourced Elastic Vacuum
The paper redefines our understanding of cosmic architecture by positing that the vacuum is a tangible, non-linear elastic substrate rather than an abstract geometric void. In this framework, the Absolute Medium serves as a deeper, more fundamental layer of physical reality than Einstein’s Special and General Relativity. Rather than treating spacetime curvature and invariant intervals as ultimate foundational truths, the paper demonstrates that SR and GR emerge as derived, situational projections of underlying continuum-mechanical phenomena—where relativistic time dilation, length contraction, and gravitational shifts are direct mechanical consequences of the Medium’s local strain, update rates, and mass-sourced flow. The Absolute Medium framework is, at its foundation, a relational theory. The proton’s physical properties— mass, energy density, gravitational potential, update rate, magnetism, and dissociative pressure— are not intrinsic possessions of an isolated particle; they are relational features of a field configuration, whose operational content is exhausted by the relations they bear to othersystems. This relational ontology is the key to understanding why relativity takes the form it does within the AM framework.
