Addendum: Levels of Residual — Intermediate Unfinished Selection, the First-Coverage Mark, and the Continuum-Limit Pair
Working note. Not a journal paper. Not a detection. Not a joint fit. Addendum to Principles of Residual Scale-Invariant Theory (Zenodo 23653695). Lock unmoved. No fourth door. Three objects occupy different seats under the same operator Retained = Select(Options | Conditions). Intermediate unfinished selection arises when local conditions change (expansion, explosion, density drop). The material remains structured matter; simple parts re-form under the new conditions. Its numerical size is fixed by the relative measure of those conditions at that scale and remains eligible for re-selection at the next scale. It is not residual A. Residual A is solely the unfinished first-moment coverage mark (working centre ≈ 0.040 inside [0.03–0.05]). It is the terminal holding plate for first coverage only and does not re-enter intermediate selection. The continuum-limit pair (door G) is the retained geometric option after selection: w₀ = −φ/2 ≈ −0.809, wₐ = −1/φ ≈ −0.618. It is not residual A. Activation angles (36° native, 45° pairwise) are discrete options; growth or expansion changes the conditions, not the angles. Zoom routes any remainder to interface I, geometric door G, residual A, or packaging. No free residual percentage is introduced. Base layer in the locked sense is residual A. Dark energy is door G. Einstein equation and Standard Model boson table remain untouched when the residual gate closes. Zero extra continuous free parameters. Quod condiciones non repudiant, retinetur.
