Curriculum‐making is the curation of encounters towards coherence
Abstract In this essay, I argue that curriculum‐making occurs in community, as teachers curate encounters, learners develop coherence and all participants impact the ongoing flow of learning for and with one another. To foreground the relational nature of curriculum‐making, I reflect on my university teaching and conclude by questioning if resources that decentre learners ought to be considered curriculum at all.
