Model Alih Generasi Kepemimpinan Musa Berdasarkan Pentateukh: Sebuah Kajian Eksegetis-Teologis

Leadership succession is crucial for the continuity of church ministry. However, previous studies have primarily focused on mentoring, training, or ministry involvement without developing an integrated model based on the Pentateuch. This study employs a literature review with an exegetical approach through grammatical-textual analysis. The findings identify five stages of Moses’ leadership succession: preparing prospective leaders through character and spiritual formation; selecting a successor based on divine calling, a shepherd’s heart, and the fullness of the Spirit; training through direct involvement; appointing and legitimizing the successor through authority and public recognition; and delegating leadership through the transfer of responsibility, affirmation, and divine accompaniment. The study concludes that leadership succession in the Pentateuch is a gradual, intentional, and continuous process involving divine and human dimensions. Its novelty lies in formulating a five-stage model of Moses’ leadership succession based on an exegetical synthesis of the Pentateuch.
