First record of the family Gonibregmatidae Cook, 1896 from China (Chilopoda, Geophilomorpha)
Gonibregmatidae is a poorly known family of soil centipedes in Geophilomorpha. The genus Vinaphilus is known from Vietnam, but its diversity and distribution remain insufficiently documented. Here, we report the first record of Vinaphilus unicus from China, providing new information on the distribution of Gonibregmatidae and the species. The family Gonibregmatidae Cook, 1896 is newly recorded from China, based on specimens of Vinaphilus unicus Tran, Tran & Bonato, 2019 collected from Hainan Province. The male of this species is described for the first time, with particular attention to the postpedal structures. Detailed descriptions, illustrations and distribution data are provided.
