Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Mandiri yang Dibantu Oleh Digital Flipbook Media terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa
This study aims to determine the differences in problem-solving abilities between students taught using the Self-Directed Learning (SDL) model—supported by a digital flipbook—and those taught using a direct instruction model. It also seeks to assess the attainment of the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) and the improvement in students' abilities. The study employs a quantitative approach, specifically a quasi-experimental design known as the "Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design." The sample consists of two seventh-grade classes: class VII A (experimental group) and class VII B (control group), each comprising 32 students. Data collection techniques include tests, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using tests for normality and homogeneity, the Mann-Whitney test, the Wilcoxon test, and the N-gain analysis. The results indicate that: 1) the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students in the experimental group were superior to those in the control group; 2) students in the experimental group successfully met the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP); and 3) there was an improvement in problem-solving abilities, with an N-gain score of 0.81, which is classified as high. The study concludes that the Self-Directed Learning model, supported by a digital flipbook, has an effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.
