Geometry of the CMB anisotropy

The standard cosmological model treats the anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) as stochastic quantum artifacts—random dice rolls stretched across the sky by an inflationary epoch. In this paper, we argue that the CMB anisotropies are instead the direct geometric signature of the Asym- metry of the Manifold. In Structural Rationalism, the scalar-tensor coupling of the vacuum requires a broken symmetry (invariant time, elastic space) to maintain a ghost-free projection. The rapid expan- sion of the early universe (”inflation”) is not a separate field, but an epiphenomenon of the stiffness tensor locking into its spectral eigenvalues. The CMB is the frozen photograph of this phase transi- tion. Furthermore, we propose that CMB polarization—specifically cosmic birefringence and non-zero EB/TB cross-correlations—provides a direct, falsifiable empirical test for this scalar-tensor asymmetry, distinguishing it definitively from standard ΛCDM.
