Synthesis, Characterization of A Novel Drug-Loaded Nano Polymer Composite as a Therapeutic for Breast Cancer Cells (MCF-7)
A new nanoscale composite-drug combination was produced through a two-stage method. Initially, a nanoscale copolymer was formed by the reaction of glycerol and phthalic anhydride, and subsequently characterized using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, AFM, and XRD (Details of its preparation are provided in the references). Second, this co-polymer was combined with Ampicillin to form a nano drug composite, which was analyzed using FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR. Molecular docking studies were accomplished to investigate the protein-ligand bond. The composite's efficacy against the breast cancer cell line MCF-7 was evaluated, demonstrating significant inhibition of cancer cell proliferation. The composite exhibited an IC50 value of 48.21 µg/ml, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic agent for breast cancer.
