Additional file 13 of A glycoengineered yeast-derived HA1-ferritin nanoparticle vaccine confers protective immunity against H7 avian influenza in chickens
Additional File 13. Pathological sections of livers from chickens in each group at 3 dpc. Histopathological images of liver sections at 3 days post-challenge, demonstrating substantial vascular congestion and focal hepatocyte necrosis in the control and HA1-Mut+ groups, whereas the HA1-MutS-ferritin, HA1-MutS-ferritin-CpG, and H7-E229 groups exhibited only mild cellular swelling without other significant abnormalities.
