EFFICIENCY OF SPRINKLER IRRIGATION FOR CARROT PRODUCTION ON TYPICAL GREY SOILS OF THE TASHKENT REGION
This study evaluated sprinkler irrigation for carrot production on typical grey soils in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. Field experiments with the “Mirzoyi kizil” variety compared furrow irrigation with sprinkler intensities of 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5 mm min⁻¹. The highest yield, 29.2 t ha⁻¹, was obtained at 0.4 mm min⁻¹, compared with 22.7 t ha⁻¹ under furrow irrigation.
