Analisis Kritis Terhadap Keilahian Yesus Sebagai YHWH Dalam Kerangka Kristologi Arianisme Sabdono

Following the Council of Nicaea, Trinitarian orthodoxy in Indonesia faces challenges from modern Arian-patterned Christology, which denies Jesus's absolute divinity by reducing Him to a created being. This study refutes local Arian arguments by examining the continuity of divine identity between YHWH in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament. Using a qualitative library research approach based on systematic-biblical theology and patristic literature, this research conducts exegesis on key biblical texts. The findings demonstrate that New Testament authors intentionally applied the title Kyrios to Jesus to affirm His consubstantiality (homoousios) with YHWH. Furthermore, reducing Jesus to a finite creature invalidates Christian soteriology, as only an infinite divine Being can execute human redemption. This study concludes that Jesus is YHWH incarnate, offering Indonesian churches a tactical apologetic framework that dismantles contemporary subordinationist theology through foundational Old-to-New Testament divine name continuity.
