Problematic Social Media Use, Eating Attitudes and Body Shape Concerns Among Adults Aged 19–35 Years: A Cross-Sectional Study

Problematic social media use, eating-related attitudes, and concerns about body shape are distinct but potentially overlapping domains relevant to psychological wellbeing. Social media provides opportunities for communication and support, while some patterns of engagement and some appearance-focused experiences may coincide with distress. This study examined the relationships among these three domains in adults within the prespecified age range of 19-35 years.
