The Evaluative Judgement Toolkit: templates for criterion-referenced self-assessment
Teaching materials for criterion-referenced self-assessment, for any module with a rubric and a sequence of written submissions: a mark-scheme template where every criterion carries a citable code, a per-section self-assessment coversheet, and a five-step in-class session that teaches students to apply the scheme to someone else's work before their own is marked. Includes worked examples from the module they were developed on — the full mark scheme in use, the blank coversheet, and a fabricated completed coversheet showing the same entry done well and done poorly. No student work is included. The evidence for the practice is in the related preprint.
