MR-damper transtibial prosthesis: OpenSim/Moco simulation data and code
This deposit contains the simulation models, solutions, code and figure scripts for the study Co-optimising stiffness, alignment and magnetorheological damping in a variable-stiffness transtibial prosthesis: a musculoskeletal simulation study with a proposed synergistic control architecture. The study models TPL-01-B, a transtibial prosthesis with a sliding-fulcrum variable-stiffness carbon-fibre leaf stack and a magnetorheological (MR) damper on the tibial frame. Simulations use OpenSim 4.6 Moco in a 15-muscle transtibial gait model. The deposit includes the reverse-identified damper law, the Bayesian-optimisation and sensitivity runs, the feasibility checks (latency, structural and actuator), the final designs (OpenSim models, Moco solutions and extracted time series), and the STL geometry of the components. Data are released under CC BY 4.0 and code under MIT.
