Geometric Stabilization of the Electroweak Vacuum in the Zhang Effective Metric
The discovery of the Higgs boson with a mass of 125 GeV implies that the Standard Model electroweak vacuum is metastable, potentially decaying via quantum tunneling at a scale of ~10¹¹ GeV. The longevity of our universe remains a profound theoretical puzzle. In this paper, we demonstrate that within the rotational-order geometric unification framework based on the Zhang Effective Metric, higher-dimensional curvature and internal topological torsion provide positive-definite geometric corrections to the Higgs effective potential. While negligible at low energies, these geometric terms grow dominantly at the instability scale, precisely canceling the negative top-quark running and ensuring absolute vacuum stability up to the Planck scale. This framework resolves the metastability crisis without invoking new light scalar fields or low-energy supersymmetry, and guarantees a vacuum decay rate vastly suppressed compared to the Hubble expansion rate.
