A Subscapularis Split Technique for Dynamic Anterior Stabilization and Bankart Repair

Abstract Splitting of the subscapularis in a dynamic anterior stabilization procedure can be a challenging and not easily reproducible technique that has many variations. We describe a technique using an arthroscopic cannula to perform the split and maintain a uniform width, as well as an easy long head of the biceps shuttling. This technique is easy to reproduce and is time‐saving, especially if a Bankart repair is concomitantly done.
