Adrenal cysts clinically mimicking cancer (three clinical observations and literature review)
Adrenal cysts are an extremely rare heterogeneous group of adrenal gland lesions of various etiologies and pathogenesis, as well as clinical manifestations. They can range from non-tumorous cystic lesions to benign or malignant cystic neoplasms. Typically, non-tumorous adrenal cysts are asymptomatic and are detected incidentally during radiological examinations for other medical conditions. With the advancement and increased availability of radiological diagnostic methods, the incidence of non-tumorous adrenal cysts is increasing. In this report, we describe 3 clinical cases of non-tumorous adrenal cysts.
