The Effect of Using the ASSURE Model in Acquiring Mathematical Concepts among Basic Tenth Grade Students in Light of their Self-Efficacy
The study aimed to identify the effect of using the ASSURE model in acquiring mathematical concepts among tenth-grade students in light of their self-efficacy. The study adopted the experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. The study used two tests (acquisition of mathematical concepts, self-efficacy), The study was applied to a sample of (68) students who were divided into two groups: the first experimental group consisting of (33) students, and the second control group consisting of (35) students, The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group and the control group on the mathematical concepts acquisition test in favor of the experimental group, and that there were statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group and the control group on the mathematical concepts acquisition test due to the interaction between the teaching method and self-efficacy, in favor of the experimental group with moderate self-efficacy, The study recommended integrating the ASSURE model into curricula as part of a modern educational strategy aimed at improving the quality of education and increasing the level of students' understanding of academic concepts.
