Spiritual Group Counseling Education: A Mindful Self-Compassion Model in Improving Students’ Achievement Emotions
A mindful self-compassion-based spiritual group counseling education is a potential model for improving achievement emotions among senior high school students. Nonetheless, this context remains underexplored in academic discussions. This study addresses gaps identified in previous studies by employing a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings suggest that the model integrates core values of spirituality, mindfulness, and self-compassion, thereby constructing a psycho-educational counseling framework that is emotionally transformative. This approach increases students’ self-awareness, strengthens emotional control skills, and improves empathy and social relationships in a group setting. Furthermore, it has significant impacts on increasing achievement emotions, such as self-confidence, learning enthusiasm, and resilience in dealing with academic pressures. The significance of this study serves as a reference for teachers and counselors in designing counseling programs that are more holistic, relevant, and adaptable to students’ emotional and spiritual needs
