The purpose of the article is a comprehensive analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of the legal principles of sustainable nature management as a basic prerequisite for a successful, transparent and environmentally safe green recovery of Ukraine in the post-war period. The research was conducted using a set of methods and techniques of scientific knowledge, which made it possible to carry out a comprehensive and objective analysis of the subject of research - philosophical and worldview, general scientific and special scientific methods. The article analyzes the national environmental legislation, the state of implementation of international and European standards and focuses on the need to improve the regulatory framework in this area. Scientific approaches to the interpretation of sustainable nature management as a condition for green renewal are revealed. The author's definition of sustainable nature management is proposed. It has been determined that the conceptual essence of the concept of sustainable nature management is most fully revealed through a system of basic principles that determine the vector of its practical implementation: the priority of environmental safety; rational use of natural resources; ecosystem approach to nature management; ecologically balanced use of natural resources; landscape approach to nature management; payment for the use of natural resources and compensation for damage caused; ecologization of production; inevitability of liability for violation of legislation; digital transparency and the right to information; stimulation of eco-modernization. Special attention is paid to legislative initiatives in this area. Directions for improving legal regulation in the studied area are proposed through the adoption of a special regulatory act, which will allow transforming the principles of green development into a real tool for sustainable restoration of the state.

Abstract

The relevance of the topic is due to the need to rebuild Ukraine on the principles of «green» recovery, which requires changing the outdated system of nature management and adapting it to international and European environmental standards. The full-scale war caused a catastrophic destructive impact on the environment; therefore, the creation of an effective legal mechanism is critically important for ensuring a balance between economic recovery and the preservation of natural resources.
