The biological Interface
In previous work (The Metaphysic of the Intelligible), the emergence of life was designated as a “stated limit”—a frontier that the geometry could accommodate but not derive. In this paper, we resolve that frontier. We demonstrate that the origin of life is not a miraculous anomaly, but an inevitable structural phase transition governed by the scalar-tensor coupling of the Projector Engine. By integrating percolation theory and the thermodynamics of autocatalytic surfaces, we show how stochastic chemical networks cross a critical threshold (pc) to form a self-sustaining metabolic engine. We then identify RNA as the localized Scalar anchor (the Fisher Information Matrix) and the ribosome as the localized Projector Engine. The emergence of life is the moment the contingent axis folds in on itself to create a closed, self-referential biological Interface.
