Morphological and Anatomical Study of leaf of Ficus racemosa L.

Abstract: Current investigation was made on anatomy of leaf of Ficus racemosa L. belonging to the family Moraceae. It is one of the largest family in dicotyledones, distributed all over India and various part of the world mostly in tropical region. Many mythological stories are seen regarding the Ficus racemosa L. The aim was to contribute with more information concerning the knowledge of anatomy. In this paper included study of microscopic (anatomical) characters of leaf, less reports were available on anatomical studies, hence present efforts were undertaken to investigate the microscopic studies.
