Scientific Rationale for a Cucumber-Based Botanical Hydration System™ (CB-1): Phytochemical Chemistry, Aqueous Delivery, and Proposed Physiological Pathways
This narrative review introduces a cucumber-dominant aqueous botanical formulation (CB-1) and evaluates its ingredient-level chemical rationale. The formulation integrates fresh cucumber, celery, cilantro, mint, ginger-water concentrate, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, coconut water and filtered water, with coarse straining to retain some fine suspended solids. Literature on polyphenol bioavailability, organic acids and food-matrix interactions supports mechanistic hypotheses but not clinical efficacy of the completed beverage.
