IDEA: Adjustment made to the live model — verify against the backtests: Apply filter: Quarterly phase = DISTRIBUTION — improves win rate from 31.9% to 36.3% (+4.4pp, n=113) SAME-WINDOW EFFECT: The filter keys on "Quarterly phase = DISTRIBUTION," but the live window you've shown is a 7-day slice (Sep 4–11) with no quarterly-phase labeling attached to any of the 10 trades, so I cannot honestly claim which of them the filter would have blocked. What I can say: the window is 3W/3L/4 rejected — a tiny, loss-tilted sample dominated by shorts (8 of 10) that mostly lost, which is exactly the regime a DISTRIBUTION filter is supposed to suppress. If the filter had been live and correctly classified this window as DISTRIBUTION, the plausible effect is blocking most of the short entries (EURUSD, XAUUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, GBPUSD, EURJPY) and keeping the two USDCHF longs — one win, one open — which would have improved realized PnL but on n≈2–3, i.e. noise, not evidence.
