Dynamic PGA: A Human-Centered Framework for Continuously Adaptive AI Experiences
Dynamic Personalized Guidance Architecture (Dynamic PGA) is a human-centered conceptual framework for continuously adaptive AI experiences. The framework explores how artificial intelligence might adapt not only to an individual's longer-range goals, interests, knowledge, and preferences, but also to meaningful changes that occur as an experience unfolds. The paper introduces a developing Dynamic A/B model: Dynamic A provides adaptive direction around the individual's goals and intended destination, while Dynamic B introduces state-aware responsiveness to the individual's immediate circumstances. Together, they express a central principle of the framework: A remembers the destination. B respects the human being who has to get there. Version 1.0 explores potential applications in education, experiential travel, professional environments, healthcare communication, and creative work, while emphasizing human agency, privacy, appropriate boundaries, and future research and validation.
