Lógicas de una organización territorial: Zacatecas de 1786 a 1824
The organization of territory and its jurisdictions were not static but dynamic, depending on how individuals appropriated it. An example of this are the adjustments made in Zacatecas during a period of political transition between the Ordinances of Intendencies from 1786 to 1824 with the first state government, where the towns presented reasons to demonstrate their ability to manage their domestic government and justified this based on their own history.
